Purpose:

• Ensure the accuracy and balancing of money as required within area of accountability
• Ensure that all Cashier tasks are performed to the highest level of quality standards agreed with management
• Identify and resolve queries and problems timeously, applying cash management policies in line with provided guidelines and escalate unresolved problems.
• Adhere to specified standards, policies and SOP's to prevent and reduce wastage on financial resources and escalate associated risk
• Adhere to Batho Pele principles
  

• Grade 12 or relevant equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
• 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar environment
